Does your dog over-react towards other dogs or people? Join Vancouver Island Animal Training Association for an afternoon of multi-media education on the topic of Canine Reactivity. Several professional dog trainers and behaviour consultants from Vancouver Island will discuss the ins and outs of dogs who bark, lunge, growl, snarl or snap at other dogs and people when out and about. We will discuss the definition of reactivity and what causes it, if and how it can be prevented, and outline recommended treatment options. The seminar will also include sample case studies of dogs who have been treated for reactivity, and a Question and Answer session with our professionals.
This seminar is suitable for pet owners, vet clinic staff, dog walkers or pet sitters, shelter or rescue staff and volunteers, and those beginning careers in dog training.
We hope to see you there, and look forward to helping you live more harmoniously with your reactive dog!
